Quick Start for Character Creation

This page helps you make a campaign-ready character quickly.

You do not need to understand the entire world of Thesalon before Session One.

You need a character who can begin aboard the Azure Aviary, a Maritheli vessel traveling through Windrider Gulf waters, with a reason to be there and a reason to stay involved when trouble begins.

The campaign begins at sea.

Windrider Freeport is expected to become the first major hub, but it is not the opening location.

The Fastest Version

To make a character quickly, answer these four questions:

1. Why are you in Marithel?
2. Why are you aboard the Azure Aviary?
3. What do you want from Windrider Freeport?
4. Why will you stay involved when trouble begins?

Then choose:

Class:
Species / ancestry:
Background:
Homeland:
Public name:
One personal hook:
One possible connection to another player character:

If you can answer those, your character is ready for the campaign start.
